Jacquey Gabriel: was active in the Cotswold folk circuit when we met. As a girl in Suffolk she had learnt a number of songs from her father who would encourage her to sing in local pubs to raise a bit of cash. Jacquey can be heard singing another of her father’s songs, Giles Collins, on MTCD311-2.
