This Rushbearing Festival takes place in and around the Yorkshire Pennine town of Sowerby Bridge during the first full weekend in September.

Starting off at St John's Church, Warley, the cart visits village churches and inns on route that takes it to Sowerby Bridge and after a night of celebrations, via a moorland route to the village of Ripponden in the Ryburn Valley.
