This will obviously cause a problem or two in the traditional versus revivalist debate.

People who Peter Kennedy recorded in the 1950s are likely deemed traditional; That wonderful singer of traditional Lancashire songs, the late Harry Boardman likely not.

Debate could run and run and possibly will. The important thing is to get the information into Folkopedia and worry about it later.
