Dear Readers; most of this information on Ray appears to come from the booklet tothe 'Classic English Banjo' CD issued by Musical Traditions, MTCD 314 , which I researched and wrote! If other comments here came from Musical Traditions editor, Rod Stradling ( who produced the CD), I have no problem with that! However,it would be appreciated if my work between 1999 and 2000 were acknowledged - as well as the help and information given by Ray's family and fellow musicians ( all referred to in the booklet) Geoff Woolfe 4th June 2009
