W:This is a well-know broadside. A version can be found, for example, in Roy Palmer's "Everyman's Book
W:of English Country Songs" as item 61 on page 115. Roy Palmer's rendition, and the broadside texts,
W:indicate that the structure of the tune is AABA. Thus this transcription differs from the MS; instead it
W:records in full what the transcribers believe RVW intended. The assumption is that the collector's notes
W:are a shorthand, and were never intended as a score to be used directly for public performance.
