Harry Holman: was born in 1888 and lived in Copthorne, Sussex, where his family had been farming for generations.  A part-time gardener, and potman at The Cherry Tree, he had formerly worked on the railway.  He was a great friend of both George 'Pop' Maynard and George Spicer and often sang in their company.  Harry died in 1972.
