Yorkshire is a historic county of northern England and the largest in the United Kingdom.

Now consisting of West, North and South Yorkshire regions, it originally included the north bank of the Humber, which had a short holiday as Humberside, and now includes the old county of Hallamshire (County town Sheffield).
