Alice Francombe: We went to see Alice so that we could record her version of the local Wassail Song.  This we did, but I must say that I was really happy when she came out with her version of the ballad The Old Drunken Man.  This was one of the songs that I heard my grandfather sing and it brought back all kinds of happy memories to me.
