Johnny Adams was appointed to the EFDSS National Council in 2000 and has worked since then developing the Society's web operations, mostly with enormous effort from a range of volunteers.

Two major developments have been the online Folk Shop (installed by Fiona Fahlin of Redpebble Web Solutions) and the online catalogue for the Vaughan Williams Memorial Library, a mammoth undertaking by Malcolm Taylor and the Library team in cooperation with Dr Richard Butterworth.

Another major project which JA couldn't fit in to his own schedule was the steady development of a site to support the Folk Music Journal and major thanks go to Malcolm Douglas for getting this site in place and developing and maintaining it.

Folkopedia is the next major development along with an education site.

Some further info on Johnny Adams is to be found at his web site
