Catherine (Kate or 'Ma') Seal.

Born 11th February 1901 at Hawker, South Australia. Moved to Kimba on her marriage in 1955. She lived into her 90's.

Started to play the button accordian (2 row melodeon) at the age of 5.


Recorded by John Meredith and Martin Falding on May 31st 1985, by John Meredith and Jamie Carlin on 26th August 1989 and by John Meredith and Peter Ellis on September 19th 1991, when she played 58 items.
