Saddleworth Rushcart

The Saddleworth Rushcart tradition is maintained by the Saddleworth Morris Men and takes place on the last weekend in August.
The cart carries a solid load of rushes, unlike the Sowerby Bridge cart which is thatched and consequently much lighter and easier to handle.
