I have been going to Folk Clubs and other Folk Events since 1964. I have sung folk songs alone and with others, I play banjo mandola and guitar. I have danced Cotswold and North West Morris and have organised a number of Mummers Plays.

I currently organise and partake in "The Singaround at The Beech" (1st & 3rd Wednesdays) and "The Beginners/Improvers Session at The Beech", (2nd & 4th Wednesdays ) The Beech Inn, Beech Road, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 9EG.

We have our own Tune Book of around 100 tunes which we use in our sessions. The Sessions attract around 25 people each fortnight.

I play in The Beech Band which is a loose collection of around 45 musicians. The BB has grown at of our Tunes Session. We play acoustically for local events and causes and generally field around 20 musicians.

We also provide collections of singers and musicians for local events and causes.
