Robert Winslow Gordon

Robert Winslow Gordon, 1888-1961, American folksong collector. Gordon made nearly a thousand cylinder recordings, across the United States, and his collection includes sea shanties, religious songs and fiddle tunes. Bascom Lamar Lunsford was among the singers recorded by Gordon.
