INSTEP RESEARCH TEAM. (Instep website)

It has always been the aim of the Instep Research Team (IRT) to make available the material which members have collected to the widest possible audience.

Commencing in 1980 the IRT published a magazine, INSTEP, and a series of booklets under the Newcastle Series imprint.

In 2013 the team took the decision to make available free on the web not only all their published material but also all their notes, recordings and videos as a resource for traditional dancers to utilise.
