Jacquey Gabriel was active in the Cotswold folk circuit when we met.  As a girl in Suffolk she had learnt a number of songs from her father who would encourage her to sing in local pubs to raise a bit of cash.  Jacquey can be heard singing another of her father’s songs, Giles Collins, on MTCD311-2.
