Folkopedia is a project initiated by the English Folk Dance and Song Society as part of its education development.
It is a growing information resource relating to the folk arts in and connected with England.
It was started in the early months of 2007 and is expected to take at least two years to reach a point where it can be a useable resource for schools.
Contribution to Folkopedia is open to any person who applies for editing rights and who adheres to the policies set by the moderators.
