I have sung traditional songs, mainly in two-part harmony with my husband, for 40 years. We have a varied repertoire of traditional songs Until 10 years ago I was regularly involved in singers clubs and music sessions in Lancashire. For the last ten years I have lived in Brittany, and have started to get involved in and learn about the very vibrant song and dance traditions of this region of France. Latterly, in Brittany, I have specialised in sea songs and shanties. For the last 3 years I have sung in a 4-part acapella group, called Many a Mickle.
