Billy Cooper (1883-1964) of Hingham in Norfolk was one of the most well known and influential English hammered dulcimer players.

  • English Country Music: Topic TSCD607. The greatly expanded CD reissue of the Record No1 LP (1965), which itself was reissued as Topic 12T296 (1976). On this CD version, Billy plays many tracks as part of a band with the Bulwers, Reg Hall, Russell Worley and Mervyn Plunkett, and four solo performances.
