For linking to other pages or external site, look at Links
For help on using images see Images and also Tables might be useful.
The very simplest way to edit is to use the tools at the top of the edit window.
These will allow you to display:
Bold Text
Italic Text
[An internal link]
A Header
An image
A media file
A formula
Some other stuff including a horizontal line.
