Anyone is welcome to apply to contribute to Folkopedia as long as they accept the principle of a peer reviewed resource. The intention is to create a resource which can be used not only by folk enthusiasts but also by children and students, with confidence that the content is accurate and can be safely included in essays and articles.

ƒ IMPORTANT!

Here at Folkopedia we take direct responsibility for our contributions. We therefore ask that as a contributor you use your real name for your user ID.

For example, my User ID is JohnnyAdams. This is important because the User ID appears in the attributions list. (When you register it seems that the name you put in the 'real name' box is the one that's used but it isn't the case)

To become a contributor to Folkopedia simply create an account here, respond to the email asking you to verify your email address and send an email to j.adams@salford.ac.uk asking us to activate your editing rights.
