There's a danger of getting into the 'Women's Morris' argument here which is probably not productive. Where are we to put Martha Roden's Tu'penny Dish or Rimington Ladies? It's mixed up with North West, with Border, with Cotswold, with various processionals but it's mostly taking its own line and more often than not with newly composed dances. It's not an easy one to get a handle on but we're open to opinions. | |||
