Firebird Records

A new label, founded initally to publish the work of English music band Phoenix, but also amenable to the publication of CDs by other revivalist performers.

The new CD by Phoenix, After the Fire (FBR 001) has been very well recieved by reviewers and purchasers alike.

Phoenix are:

Kevin Bown: Broadwood upright piano (1880), double bass.

(Dalriada, Wiltshire Reunion, Grand Union, Flying Clouds)

Martin Brinsford: Suzuki tremelo harmonicas.

(Old Swan Band, Brass Monkey, Grand Union, Tiger Moth)

Mike Pinder: fiddle, banjo mandolin on track 12.
