'''Musical Traditions Internet Magazine'''

A magazine devoted to traditional performers and their music, from all over the world.   It contains all the MT output from the paper editions of the magazine 1983-93 and the ongoing virtual magazine of the present day.  In 2006 it had over one and a quarter million visitors.

The magazine now (1st March 2007) contains 202 main Articles, 55 shorter Enthusiasms articles, around 800 Reviews, the complete Topic Records discography, the Recorded Traditional Music discography, 37 pages of News & Comment, 24 Letters pages, a huge Links directory, over 2,500 photos and over 1,300 sound clips.  The text element alone is equal to about 4,500 A4 pages.

As well as the magazine itself, Musical Traditions also publishes Musical Traditions Records - CD-Rs of important music which would be unlikely to find a commercial publisher, and Firebird Records - publishing more revivalist material.
