George Spicer

George Spicer, singer. Born at Little Chart, Kent, 1906. Worked as a herdsman in the area between Dover and Deal. Learned most of his songs in Kent. In 1940 moved to Selsfield in Sussex, where he continued to work as a herdsman. Father of Ron Spicer.
