Harry Hurlbut Albino collected one song, Old Dobbin (Roud 382) from Frederick Bee in 1913.

Frederick Edward Bee was born in Aston Mill, Lower Slaughter, Gloucestershire in 1858. His parents ran the 17th-century mill and Frederick lived there until his marriage to Kate Gertrude Gillett in the summer of 1887, when he remained in Lower Slaughter, but set up on his own account as a farmer. He remained there until his death at the end of 1919.
