Although the English Folk Dance Society existed from 1911 to 1932, it only published a handful of issues of its journal. Volume 1 (parts 1 and 2, 1914–15) was hit by the First World War, and the second series achieved four annual numbers (1927–32) before the Society amalgamated with the Folk-Song Society to form the [[English Folk Dance and Song Society]].
