Born in Berkeley California in 1945, moved permanently to the UK in 1973.  Worked in record shops and distributors in the US and in the UK at None Stop Records and HMV Oxford Street until about 1980.  Worked then for Topic Records under Tony Engle until retirement in 2010.  Always been obsessed with recorded (and live) music of all sorts, especially folk and 60s rock music.
