Folkopedia is intended as a resource for students and teachers alike. In conjunction with other efdss sites it can build to provide a research trail for students, a repository for teaching material and a reliable source of information on all aspects of the folk arts.
It is overseen by a number of people who are recognised specialists in their fields and who will ensure the content is accurate and reflects the latest research thinking. As a reviewed and moderated information base, we hope that teachers and academics will have the confidence to allow students to quote Folkopedia as an authoritative source.
