Folkopedia is run by a piece of software called MediaWiki ( the same one as used by WikiPedia).
Therefore the complete story of how to edit a page in Folkopedia can be found at the MediaWiki site. Editing help
For instructions on headings and lists etc., look at the MediaWiki Formatting Guide
For linking to other pages or external site, look at Links
For help on using images see Images and also Tables might be useful.
The very simplest way to edit is to use the tools at the top of the edit window.
These will allow you to display:
Bold Text
Italic Text
[[An internal link]]
A Header
A media file
A formula
Some other stuff including a horizontal line.
