The Dixon,(2) MS is in the Dixon Papers in Lincolnshire Archives, St. Rumbold St., Lincoln LN2 5AB and has the accession number Dixon 21/1/6. The cover is missing and the handwriting is quite different from the T J Dixon MS. There is no name on it and the only indication of date and place is the note on Dix.55 - “Islington Feby 21st 1811”. Many of the tunes are piano arrangements of dance tunes and popular music of the day.
